Dr. Georg Freiherr von Waldenfels

was a cabinet member of the Bavarian Ministry of State for 17 years, where he held positions as the Bavarian Minister of Finance (1990 - 1995) and head of the Department of Federal and European Affairs (1987 – 1990). Currently he is a practicing attorney/Of Counsel for Clifford Chance, as well as being a member of the Supervisory Board of several companies, including E.ON AG, Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH, Hamburg, Rothenbaum Sport GmbH, Hamburg (Chairman) and GI-Ventures AG, Munich (Chairman). He previously served as a member of the Executive Board of VIAG AG and VIAG Telecom AG.
