Jeffrey M. Solomon

is Managing Partner of Ramius Capital Group, LLC, New York. He is responsible for the company’s Structured Finance and Credit initiatives.
He oversees the technology, operations, treasury and finance functions on a firm-wide basis. Until 1994, Solomon was at Republic New York Securities Corporation, now part of the HSBC Group, where Solomon supervised the company’s expansion into Europe by overseeing the creation of its UK affiliate. He was named Chief Administrative Officer and was responsible for supervising the integration of systems and operations on a worldwide basis. He was also a member of the Credit Committee of the firm’s Board of Directors. Jeffrey M. Solomon previously worked in the M&A section at Shearson Lehman Brothers.
